From there, my final stop was at Miller Theatre at Columbia University for a concert of Karin Rehnqvist pieces, which included the Swedish "folk singing," kulning. David played in one of the pieces, "Raven Chant," which was not only a world premiere, but also written solely for the concert...
SO IN ONE DAY, I (sort of) went from Europe, to Asia and back again. I'd say it was a rather 'cultured' day off.
